3.5
This was an asked number and one that really opens the possibilities of results.
My answer is obvious if you have been following my Brilliant Ideas post and my Oppo Confession. The Twin Turbocharged 3.5 Litre Eco-Boost Ford V6 engine.
This saviour of an engine has brought to life Fords in the best of ways. It has made people forget about V8 Pickup trucks, it made the Flex the cheapest fast wagon, the Explorer the 7 seater hotrod, the MKS the ultimate sleeper, and the MKT the ultimate Wagon Sleeper. I mean, what can 365 HP and 420 Torques can't do for you.

I nominate the fuck out of the 3.5EB as well, entirely because I own one. And I would add these are 350 tq in transverse applications (expl., sho, flex). But! With a tune these gain all the torque's AND MORE that they left on the table when compared to the F-150. For 600 dollars you can gain something bonkers like 50hp and 70tq's out of this engine, with proven reliability and a transmission that has more than enough headroom (6F55). Personally I am adding downpipes on top of that (~$700) Good for another healthy gain, putting me close to the 450hp mark at the crank. With a 0-60 that's likely to come in just under 4 seconds. I'll SHO those stock Vette's and Mustang GT's at the track this summer :P

My 2.5 liter EJ flat four makes exactly 365 hp 420 tq (not stock of course)
I'm honestly just bitter that the Audi turbo 5 won the best 2.5 liter when the ej is so widely used and loved

Hahah yeah, I just chose it for my VAG love. But also, I was surprised they didn't scourge me for not choosing the Subaru engine.

Sorry but nope.
3.5L quad turbo V12
(engine shot @ 0:50)
600hp out 3.5 liters is amazing by today's standards, I can't even imagine what people said in 1992.

It's also stupidly heavy, I mean..the Z isn't a lightweight, but the Murano feels just gutless by comparison...Decent at towing though, just looks completely hilarious with a trailer or a VW Beetle being towed behind it, haha

I kinda want a 6.2 ;) or just stroke this out to a 3.8...not sure what to do yet -.- Tires and wheels are next, hopefully LSD and coilovers soon after, big brakes, other various suspension parts, then engine... N/A? TT? S/C? Swap? I am undecided. Thennnn, rip out the interior, cage, race seats, and replace parts with carbon fiber parts.

Lol, the Murano is my mums :P Pretty sure she's keeping it stock..probably not keeping it at all, I imagine she'll get soemthing else in the next few years. I meanwhile want to turn the Z into a full on race car..and also buy a truck to DD and tow the Z with..because the Beetle isn't reliable enough to DD all the time, and it has virtually no heater..and I live in Colorado.. and the Beetle can't tow..well..anything, haha

It was in the Morgan Plus 8 and TVR 350i, as well. The P6B was pretty cool, as were the old Range Rovers.

If it could tow that much weight though is the question, lol. A Titan would work, but depending what I do with the motor, like if I left the VQ in it, I'd want to rip the VK out of the Titan and put it in the Z..and then I wouldnt be able to tow it, lol. But if I LS swap it or something, a Titan could work..just not sure on the Frontier or Taco's towing capacity, and the Z being heavy.

I bet it does. The way I see it, its like a return of the Jetta VR(sex)6 type of compact cars with V6 engines.
